Winona Lee Jones

Winona Lee Jones, 89, passed from this life on August 29, 2017 in Shawnee. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 2 at Tecumseh Cemetery. Winona was born October 29, 1927 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma to James Samuel and Gertrude (Smith) Donham.  She attended school in Shawnee. She married James (Jamie) Jones on November 24, 1954.  Winona retired from the bookkeeping offices of Shawnee Milling Company after 40 years of service. Winona was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Onita Simpson, and husband Jamie Jones. She is survived by nephew Steve Simpson, niece Terri Johnson and husband Gary, nephew Michael Johnson and wife Kim, nephew Jeff Johnson, niece Lori Dodd and husband Chris, and numerous other family and friends.
