Towana Anita Johnson, 86, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She was born March 26, 1940 in Wanette, Oklahoma.
Towana was a woman whose life was rooted in faith, family, and service to others. She found great joy in cooking and baking, often expressing her love through the meals she prepared and the warmth she brought to every gathering. Her kitchen was not just a place for food, but a place of comfort, laughter, and togetherness.
A devoted woman of faith, Towana was an active member of First Church of the Nazarene in Shawnee. She loved attending church and participating in Bible school, where she grew in her faith and shared her kindness and wisdom with others. Her life was a reflection of her beliefs—selfless, caring, and full of compassion.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Zollie & Juanita Knight; husbands, Ralph Jacobs, Bob Saulsberry, Phillip Johnson; brothers and sister, Walter Girty, Janice Cowan, Bobby Knight, Gene Glaze; and daughter-in-law Kathy Jacobs. Towana is survived by her loving son, Ronnie Jacobs of the home; three grandchildren, Brandy Lohman and husband Mike of Dale, OK, Chantillee Clary and husband Stacy of Conway, AR, and Rennee Buoy and husband LE of Meeker, OK; eight great-grandchildren, Christopher Lohman, Madison Lohman, Zeke Smith, Billy Buoy, Luke Buoy, Ryder Buoy, Noah Clary, and Kaden Clary; and three great-great-grandchildren, Evermore Lohman, Blakley Lohman, and Haidyn Smith; numerous nieces, nephews and friends-all of whom carry forward her legacy of love and faith.
