Tommy "Tom" Francis Sharp

Shawnee resident Tom Sharp, 73, died Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at his home. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 26 in the chapel of Walker Funeral Service with Pastor Brandon Leslie officiating. Burial will follow in Konawa Cemetery. Tommy Francis Sharp was born December 29, 1945 in Oklahoma City to Mr. & Mrs. Troy Sharp of Konawa. He graduated from Konawa High School in 1965 and attended Vo-Tech school. On July 13, 1973 he married Mary C. Thurman. Tom worked at Fred Jones for 13 years, Eaton Corporation for 27 years, and Atwoods for 6 years. He loved working on cars and lawn mowers, loved being a handyman and helping people, and was always smiling and cheerful. He was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Sharp.
