Shirley Ann Stubbs

Shirley Ann Stubbs, age 70 of Shawnee, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her closest family and friends, Saturday September 15, 2018. Services will be held Thursday September 20, 2018 at 2pm in Walker Funeral Service Chapel, burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park with Vern Sundberg officiating.Shirley was born April 27, 1948 in Shawnee, OK to Connie Mack and Deloris “Jean” Stubbs. She was baptized in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ in the Church of Christ. She graduated from Dale High School. She married Dwayne Slate. Together they shared two daughters, Kari and Sheri. She retired from Mobile Chemical. She loved her friends and family with a genuine unconditional love and she considered each relationship precious.She was preceded in death by her mother Deloris “Jean” Stubbs, Brother in law Dr. Scott Steward, Niece Lindsey Steward and Nephew Gregory Steward.Survivors: Father Connie Mack Stubbs, Sister Nancy Steward, Daughter Kari Gowland and husband Erik, Granddaughter Catie Malone and husband Colton, Great Grandson Bryton, Great Granddaughter Breelynn, Daughter Sheri Walker and husband Chris, Grandson Nicolas Moran and Granddaughters Summer Moran and Morgan Walker, and her precious fur baby Oliver.
