Rocky Fields

September 8, 1954 — April 19, 2021

Rocky Fields was the son of W.C. “Buck” Fields and Marjorie Evelyn (Doshier) Fields. Rocky married his best friend, Debra (Conger), on March 17, 1973 in Nowata, Oklahoma. Together they enjoyed a marriage built on love and laughter and were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Stefanie and three beautiful granddaughters, Grace, Adison, and Isabelle. Rocky was an R.N. who took great pride in taking care of others and continued his education at Oklahoma City University earning a Master’s Degree in Nursing. He enjoyed playing the organ and the time spent sitting side by side with his daughter letting her play the peddle parts. Rocky was also an avid quilter and loved to spend time with his wife working on projects they would dream up together. He was known best for his sense of humor. Even on his worst day he would find something to joke about. Rocky was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, a beloved son and brother, and a trusted friend by many. He will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buck and Evelyn Fields of OKC, his oldest sister Donna Lankford of Fourney, TX, and his nephew Patrick of TX. Rocky is survived by his wife, Debra Fields of Shawnee, daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Daniel Kraeer of Choctaw, three granddaughters, Grace, Adison, and Isabelle Kraeer of Choctaw, sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Dan Chapmen of GA, his brother and sister-in-law, Dan and RoniSu Fields of Edmond, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gary and Barbara Dawson of Nowata and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
