Rickey "Rick" Eugene Brown

Rick E. Brown age 62 of Shawnee died Monday, May 30, 2022 in an Oklahoma City hospital. Graveside services will be Friday, June 3, 2022 2:00 P.M. at Pilgrams Rest Cemetery south of Newalla, Oklahoma. He was born May 18, 1960 in Oakland, California to Carl Brown and Lawanda Barnhart. He graduated High School and 1 year of college. He worked at TDK for 15 years and then worked for his father-in-law at Boyd's Heat and Air. He then got his journeyman in Heat and Air. He was married for 25 happy years. He loved to fish and hunt. Loved taking family to state park cabins and to the Arkansas River in Gore, Webber Falls and Tenkiller. He loved spending time with the grandkids. Rick was preceded in death by his stepfather Bob Cannady, his father Carl Brown, grandmother Oma Manes, and niece, Sommer Knowles. Survived by wife: Lisa of 25 years; 2 daughters: Rikki Volner and Shelby Baker, grandchildren: Colton, Alli, Austin, Rylie and Oliver, Mother: Lawanda Cannady and Sister: Vickie Lewis, goddaughter: Amara Cooper, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, stepbrothers, and sisters.
