Rebecca “Becky” Ann Honkomp, 60 of Iowa Park, Texas passed away February 15, 2026, in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Celebration of Life will be held at Texoma Speedway in Wichita Falls on February 28, 2026, at 12p.m.
Becky was born on May 13, 1965, in Wichita Falls, TX to Robert “Bob” and Phyllis Biter and was raised in Petrolia, Texas. As an adult she moved to Wichita Falls where she eventually met her husband, Tim, here as well. Tim and Becky were married on April 30, 1990, in Wichita Falls.
Becky was very well known for her strong will and love of being at the racetrack. She worked at many different tracks in north Texas and Oklahoma over the last 35 years. Her most recent position was working for Kirk and Cheri Berkley at Outlaw Motorsports in Shawnee, OK and Greg Deatherage with MWRS during the winter months. During the summer months she worked for Mike and Kelley Engstrom at Kam Kartway in Rhome, TX and for Jerrad and Linsey Warhurst at 81 Raceway in Minco, OK.
She is survived by her parents, Phyllis & Robert “Bob” Biter; husband, Timothy “Tim” Honkomp; her daughter, Rachel Ferguson; her son, Timothy “TJ” Honkomp Jr. and wife Shelbi; her sister Sandy Huff; her brothers Robert and Daniel Biter; her grandchildren, Izabella “Izzy”, Reyna, Bentley and Wyatt; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family; and also an extensive racing family.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations can be sent to help with expenses of this unexpected passing to TJ Honkomp at P.O. Box 1091, Holliday, Texas, 76366.
