Penny Marie Factor

On December 1, 2021, Penny Marie (Wilson) Factor of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away at the age of 57. She was born in Shawnee on March 24, 1964 to Jerry Lynn Wilson and Emma Marie (Gouker) Wilson. She attended Shawnee Public Schools and graduated in 1982. While working at Sonic in 1978, Penny met her husband-to-be, William "Billy" Factor. They were married on August 4, 1984 at St. Benedicts Church. They had one daughter, Nicole Marie. Penny was also a member of the Choctaw tribe.

Penny worked at Allen Bradley (TDK) for 22 years before working at St. Anthony's Hospital as a certified laboratory technician for 10 years where she made lifelong friends.

Penny was an avid reader who always had her bright yellow Kindle nearby. When she wasn't reading her cheesy romance novels, she enjoyed watching the Food Network, spending time with her family and spoiling her 2 grand-dogs, Winston and Palmer. One of Penny's proudest moments was going back to school and graduating with an Associate in Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technology degree from Seminole State College in 2010.

Penny was preceded in death by her husband, Billy of 37 years; father, Jerry Wilson; step-father, Larry Stein; step-sisters, Crystal Bowden and Kelly Elliott; and step-brother, Mark Bowden.

Penny will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Nicole of Edmond; mother, Emma Wilson of Shawnee; step-mother, Joqueta Wilson of Shawnee; sister, Karen and Tim Terrel of Noble; step-sister, Robin Schausten of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers, Roger Wilson of Shawnee and Bill Floyd of Inola; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

A memorial ceremony for Penny will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Walker Funeral Chapel in Shawnee, OK.
