Patricia Lueze Carrington

Patricia Lueze Carrington was born in Konawa, Oklahoma to Hubert and Lucille Grove on July 2, 1944. The family later moved to Maud, Oklahoma where Patricia attended and graduated from Maud Public Schools. She married Tommy Carrington and made their home in Maud. After Tommy’s passing in 1996, Patricia continued to reside in Maud until 2005 when she moved to Shawnee. She enjoyed reading, listening to country music, and visiting with friends and relatives. Patricia especially enjoyed the staff and her friends at Shawnee Brookdale Senior Living Center where she resided for the past several years. Patricia's family would like to extend a special thank you and appreciation to the Brookdale staff for their professionalism, love and support. She in preceded in death by: husband, Tommy Carrington, parents, Hubert and Lucille Grove, and brother, Clifford Grove. She is survived by son, John and wife Kathy Carrington of Shawnee; granddaughter, Jessika Carrington of Chapel Hill, NC; sister, Barbara and husband Dwayne Culley of Shawnee; brother, Wayne and wife Julie Grove of San Tan Valley, AZ and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family visitation will be at Walker Funeral Service, Thursday, September 8th 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Services have been set for Friday, September 9th at 1:00 P.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 47943 Abbey Rd., Konawa, OK, officiated by Father Joseph Duggempudi. Burial will follow at Cummings Cemetery, Maud, OK
