Nancy Jean Webster

Shawnee resident Nancy J. Webster passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 in Oklahoma City.A celebration of her life has already been held.Nancy was born April 18, 1945 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Jacob and Mary Spangler. She Donegal Union High School. She married Charles Webster on July 2, 1965. She had worked various jobs before starting her family. Soon after they married, they moved to San Antonio, TX for Charles’ career. In 1984 they moved back to PA. In 2000, after Charles retired, they moved to Shawnee to be near their oldest daughter. She had attended Churches of God and Country and Town Baptist Church in PA, and Hazel Del Baptist Church in OK. She adored her two daughters and husband and always put them first. One thing she said was “everyone needs a Nancy Jean in their life!”. She enjoyed spending time working and decorating her yard, genealogy, and NASCAR racing. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister: Esther Groff, brother: Kenneth Spangler, and a nephew: Robert Pardoe.Survivors include 2 Daughters: Melissa Webster of Mesquite, TX,Charlene Webster of Shawnee,Sisters: Ann OlsenMary Ellen Baum,Dorothy Heisey,Brother: Dean Spangler,Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
