Michael Eston Pritchard

Michael Eston Pritchard, resident of Shawnee, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023. He was 60 years old. Michael was born on July 25, 1963 in the old Mission Hill Hospital in Shawnee to his parents, Jimmy and Wanda Pritchard. He attended school in Tecumseh, Duncan, Shawnee, and Prague. After high school, Michael attended Seminole State College, OSU, and East Central University. He was very intelligent and impressed others with his knowledge of random facts.

Michael worked several jobs throughout his life. He was a meter regulator and repair technician for Oklahoma Natural Gas, he managed several restaurants, and he was certified to appraise homes.

Michael loved all things country whether he was hunting, fishing, or farming his parent’s land. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed golfing and watching OSU football. Above all, Michael loved his family and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Pritchard.

Survivors include his mother, Wanda Pritchard of Shawnee, sister, Sherri and husband Randall Lokey of Yukon and their children, Derek Lokey and Brook Murphy, brother, Jeff and wife Terri Pritchard of Jenks and their children, Leslie Daugherty and Laci Horner, brother, Greg Pritchard of Shawnee and his children, Amber Wood, Cody Pritchard, and Mariah Whittet, as well as 12 great-nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Walker Funeral & Cremation Service.
