Mattox Aron Cole was born on June 2, 2022. He was a bright light in our lives, teaching us more about courage, joy, and unconditional love than words could ever fully express. He faced each day with resilience, grace, and a smile that could light up the darkest room. Despite the obstacles life presented, Mattox found joy in the little things--cuddles with family and the love of everyone lucky enough to know him. He taught us all to slow down, to notice the beauty in the present, and to love fiercely. We are grateful for the time we had with Mattox, however short, and we will carry his memory in our hearts forever. He was a gift to this world, and we are better for having known and loved him.
Mattox was preceded in death by his Nana, Alice Cole, his Papa, Jack Cole, and his uncle Carson Cole.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Heath and Crystal Cole of the home, Ryan Thomas of Spiro, OK, siblings, Ava Cole of the home, Hadley Cole of the home, Kallye Turner of Shawnee, Jackson Cole and spouse Jayden of Panama, and Junior Mary Thomas of Spiro, special niece and nephews, Eden Turner, Noah Turner, and Jedidiah Cole, uncles, Ron Cole and wife Ronda of Stigler and Brian Watson and wife Crysta of Hartshorne, grandparents, Debra and Thomas Watson of Keota and Amy Keifer of Spiro, as well as a whole host of bonus nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters.
