It is with deep remorse that I announce the death of COL (Ret) Matthew "Bruce" Lambeth. COL Lambeth died 17 January 2025.

He is preceded by his wife, Teri, who passed away on 1 November 2024. He is survived by his daughter Darci Choi and her husband Preston, daughter Chloe Humphrey and her husband Gage, grandson Liam and granddaughter Bennie.

COL Lambeth began his 34-year military career with enlistment in the Oklahoma Army National Guard in April 1988. He commissioned as an Officer in May 1992. Throughout COL Lambeth's career he served in numerous positions including but not limited to the OKARNG G5/7, Commander for the 189 RTI, Commander for the 1-279 IN, and numerous S3 positions at the 45th IBCT, the 2-189 RTI, and 1-180 IN. His deployments include Ukraine in 2017, two tours in Afghanistan in 2004 and 2011-2012, and Iraq in 2008. He retired from service on 1 June 2022.

The family requests military personnel attend in dress uniform in honor of COL Lambeth's service.
