Mark Sterling Pritchard

Mark Sterling Pritchard resident of Tecumseh, passed away on June 25, 2026. Mark was born on August 19, 1956 in Shawnee, OK to Johnny and Patsy Pritchard. Mark graduated from Shawnee High School and continued on to earn his associate’s degree at Seminole Jr. College. He worked as a manager for Sinclair Pipeline Company and later worked at the Shawnee Water Treatment Plant.

Mark loved the nostalgia of the 70s and 80s. He collected vinyls and various stereo electronics with setups only he knew how to work. He also had a passion for his Koi. Mark built a beautiful Koi pond and raised 9 Koi fish. A hard freeze in 2010 prompted him to dig a 4’x3’ wide extension to the pond to give his Koi a place to escape the freezing temperatures. He did this by hand without any equipment.

Above all else, Mark was a dedicated family man who loved his family dearly. That being said, if you asked for his honest opinion, he would give it to you! He never deterred from his beliefs and always treated his wife the way he wanted to be treated. Mark was one who could fix anything and loved tinkering on his cars in his decorated garage. He was artistic and very creative.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Patsy Pritchard of Shawnee; paternal grandparents, V.J. and Ina Pritchard of Shawnee; and maternal grandparents, Sterling and Dovie Edwards of Shawnee.

Mark S. Pritchard left behind his loving wife, Pamela G. Pritchard; daughter and son-in-law, Brittyn and Mark Combs of Mustang; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Rebecca Pritchard of Mustang; cherished grandsons, Jarron and Tyson Combs of Mustang; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Keith Ward of Shawnee; aunts, Shirley Claborn of Shawnee and Joy Heiman of Edmond; niece, Jessica McClain and husband Jordan of Shawnee; and great niece and nephew, Brody and Olivia Wolfe of Shawnee.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Walker Funeral & Cremation Service.
