Marion Elizabeth Miles

Marion Elizabeth Miles, 89, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023 at her home.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December5, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery.

Marion was born October 31, 1934 in Concho, Oklahoma to Harold and Josephine Miles.  She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1952. She worked for several years doing factory work but while doing so, she earned a Bachelor's Degree from O.B.U. and a Master's Degree from O.U.  Marion enjoyed reading, listening to music, and working.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 daughters: Marion Denise Bettis and Melissa Jo Chisholm, a grandson: Justin Garrison, and a sister: Roberta Miles.

Survivors include 2 children: Robin Garrison of Shawnee, Robert Miles and partner Leah Chaffins of Lawton, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members and friends.
