Makiah L. Lind

Makiah Lind, 52, of Harrah, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Makiah was born on September 5, 1973, in Oklahoma City to Donita Susan Moreno.

She spent her life embracing the things she loved: family/friend gatherings, great conversation, the comfort of her pets, OU football, and the work she did at Tinker Air Force Base. Makiah had a gift for making people laugh, offering honest advice, and she poured her heart into every role she held: wife, mother, daughter, and friend.

Makiah is survived by her husband, Alen Lind; her mother, Donita Moreno; and her children, Marissa (Derek) Bomboy, Kaitlin (Alex) Lind, and Annabella Lind. She is also survived by her beloved four-legged companions, Gracie and Sammy. 

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Frank Sheridan; her grandmother, Dovie Sheridan; her brother, Mikah Moreno; and her cherished pets, Sadie, Suzie, and Ginger.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Walker Funeral & Cremation Service on Sunday, December 14th from 3-5pm and on Monday, December 15th from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm with family present to greet friends from 5-7pm. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the Walker Funeral Chapel, followed by a graveside service at Calvary Cemetery.

Makiah will be remembered for her unwavering love; may her memory be a blessing that settles softly around her family, leading them forward with the warmth she leaves behind.
