Joshua D. Deatherage, 29, of Seminole, died Monday, February 10 at his home.
Tribal rites will be Thursday evening at First Indian Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 14 at First Indian Baptist Church with Victor Cope and Spencer Davis officiating.
Joshua was born November 19, 1990 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Curtis & Janice (Meeks) Deatherage, and attended Tecumseh High School. He loved to play football and baseball. He enjoyed motorcycles and hanging out with his brothers. He mostly enjoyed being with his kids.
He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Wesley Meeks, a brother, Lee Deatherage and an uncle, George Magpie.
He is survived by his parents, Curtis Deatherage and Janice Meeks, girlfriend Paula Cazares, his kids Lillianna and Clayton Deatherage, 3 brothers Benjamin Meeks, Cheyenne Deatherage and Amos Deatherage, his Grandma Mary Meeks, and several aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
