Johnnie Murel Walker age 96 of McLoud, Oklahoma died Sunday January 8, 2023 in a local hospital. Graveside Services have been scheduled for Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in the Dora Cemetery, North of Konawa, Oklahoma. Zack Northrip will officiate. Johnnie was born May 23, 1926 in Hazel, Oklahoma to Rex and Johnnie (Dollar) Walker. He attended Dora School until the 8th grade. He retired from Farming and Oil Field work. Married Katheryn (Abbott) Walker on the 5th of December, 1953. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife: Katheryn (Abbott) Walker; Brothers:R.C., Willard and Wallace Walker; Brother-in-law: Ed Biela; Son: Clint Walker and Son-in-law: Don Rogers. Survived by: Sister: Virginia Biela of Texas; Brothers: C. OZelle and wife Barbara of Texas; Victor Don and Becky (Mashino) Walker of Oklahoma; Sister-in-law Betty (Layne) Walker of Texas; Daughter: Janetta Rogers, Sons: Ladd Walker; and Ricky Walker; Daughter-in-law Sue (Lewis) Walker all of Oklahoma. Six Grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren and Six Great Great Grandchildren and many Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and Friends.
