Jefflyn L. Farris

Farris, Jefflyn L., age 72, of Shawnee, OK passed away suddenly Monday, May 17, 2021 in San Antonio, TX while traveling with her daughter.

A graveside ceremony to gratefully celebrate Jefflyn's life will be held at 10:00 am Monday, September 13, 2021 at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Walker Funeral & Cremation Service.

Jefflyn was born on January 9, 1949 in Shawnee, OK to John I. and Kizella (Thurston) Huddleston.  She was raised in the Shawnee area and graduated from Shawnee High School in 1967.  Baking was a passion Jefflyn shared with others.  Throughout Shawnee, Jefflyn's baked goodies were sold at various times in local restaurants as well as her own shop.  In addition to baking, Jefflyn loved traveling the U.S., where she journeyed all over to enjoy the sights and spend time with her family.

Survivors include her beloved children:  Slate Farris and wife Jeannie of Torrance,CA, Lorien Farris of Shawnee;  treasured grandchildren:  Alyssa Weddendorf of CT, Shea Farris of Oklahoma City, as well as her cherished nieces and nephew.  Jefflyn was preceded in death by her parents and sister Lee Ellen Grogan.
