Jean Zurmehly

Jean Zurmehly, 91 died Friday, October 5, 2018 at her home in Norman.Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Chris Dodson officiating. Walker Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.Jean was born January 22, 1927 in Wanette, OK to Earl & Emma (Cooper) Hiser. She graduated from Asher High School, and on June 12, 1947 she married Clyde E. Zurmehly, Jr. Jean was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of New Hope Extension Group and a hospital volunteer.Preceding her in death were her husband Clyde E. Zurmehly, Jr., a son, Clyde E. Zurmehly III (Woody), and a great-grandchild, Matthew Dodge McCall.Survivors include her two daughters, Cathy Boggs and Gina Thompson, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
