Shawnee resident Isaac Franklin Kimball, 86, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Walker Funeral Service with Chaplain David Swift officiating. Burial will follow at Johnston Cemetery. Isaac was born September 20, 1935 in Pottawatomie County to Ralph Lawrence Kimball and Vera Ellen (Griffin) Kimball. He graduated from Ripley High School and soon after served in the United States Army. Isaac married Judith May (Kinkade) and later married Violet Francine (Fisher). He was a commercial bus driver for over 35 years, owned an auto shop, and worked as a mechanic. His enjoyments included metal detecting, bible study, and buying, collecting, and repairing cars. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter: Rose Annette Thomas, and 13 sibling. Survivors include 12 children: Cary D. Kimball and wife Lydia of Kodiak, AL, Norman F. Kimball and wife Cindy of Hulbert, OK, Darryl J. Kimball and wife Angela of Valley Center, CA, Sarah J. Credeur of Sulphur, LA, Nathaniel P. Kimball and wife Suzy of Stillwater, OK, Marlene K. Kimball of Vinton, LA, Vera E. Bernal of Alvarado, TX, Ralph A. Kimball of Tontitown, AR, Jeanne L. Kimball of Vinton, LA, Judy L. Hicks of Sulphur, LA, Justacy F. Maldonado and husband Daniel of Ardmore, OK, Lamanda Jo Hart and husband Jacob of Tishomingo, OK. 28 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 sister: Zella Elmore of Shawnee, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
