Ida Louise Parish

Ida Louise Parish was born May 12, 1956 in Pawnee, Oklahoma, a daughter of George and Ruth Anne (Morris) Nullake. Ida was raised in the Aydelotte community. She attended Meeker schools, graduating in 1974. After High School, she attended East Central University in Ada. As one of the few full blood members of the Sac and Fox Nation, Ida lived her entire life in central Oklahoma. Ida worked as a Tax Clerk for the Sac and Fox Nation. As well, she was a member of the Sac and Fox Pow-Wow Committee as well as the Veteran's Auxiliary. In her free time, Ida enjoyed attending Pow-Wows and dances, making moccasins, and going to the casino with family and friends. Above all else, Ida loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loving, caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Survivors include her daughter Anne Johnson of the home; sisters: Stella Nullake of Aydelotte, and Nancy Nullake of Cushing; grandchildren: Ciara Johnson and Winter Johnson, as well as a host of other beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ida was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Regina Davis, Shirley Alexander, George Nullake, Jr. and Georgia Nullake, granddaughter: Jaylen Johnson as well as her nephew Kyle Nullake and nieces Henrietta Kauley and Juliette Blanchard.

Friends and loved ones may pay their respects on Friday, October 31, 2025 from 5-8pm. A traditional Sac and Fox funeral ceremony will continue on Saturday, November 1, 2025, both at the Sac and Fox Nation Community Building at the Sac and Fox Nation Complex south of Stroud, Oklahoma. Following the ceremony, Ida will be laid to rest with her family at the Wakolee Cemetery North of Shawnee.
