Gena Lynn Duncan

Gena Lynn Duncan, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 in Tulsa. She was 58 years old. She lived in Owasso with her loving boyfriend, Andre Rocha and his two daughters Emily and Ashley.

Gena was born on September 1, 1962 in Pacoima, California to her parents, Harold Duncan and Mary Proznyk.

Gena was a great cook. She especially loved learning how to cook all different kinds of foods from different origins around the world. She would teach herself how to cook things from scratch and was quite good at it. She could stretch $20 to feed an army. Gena loved music from all genres but especially loved the 90s, 00s, alt rock, and hairbands from 80s and 90s.

She loved spending time with her grandkids and traveling, especially to Vegas. She enjoyed shopping and loved all of the finer things in life and had the ability to make a dollar last forever. She loved spending time with her family and was an avid OU football fan.

Gena will be deeply missed by her sons, Mark Standlee and wife Carrie and Josh Standlee and wife Amber, grandchildren, Riley, Nixon, Cadence, Corbin, Austin, Jalynn and Aubree, sister, Shannan Ritter, and brother, Gerald "Ron" Ritter and wife Courtney.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Duncan and mother, Mary Ritter.

A graveside ceremony for Gena will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Rossville Cemetery in Rossville, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be: Mark Standlee, Jr., Josh Standlee, Andre Rocha, and Mark Standlee, Sr.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Walker Funeral Home on Monday and Tuesday, August 30-31, until 6:00 pm.

Gena was a compassionate, loving and understanding person who left this world too soon and will be missed by those who loved her.
