Floyd Raymond Hood

We mournfully announce the passing of Floyd Raymond Hood, 67, of Shawnee. He was born to Charles Hood and Janie Hood (Burnes) on February 28, 1954, in Shawnee, OK. After a hard fought battle with cancer, Floyd went to be with the Lord on August 26, 2021, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by his parents and two nephews, Brady Cosby of Shawnee and Michael Landreth of Altus. He is survived by Kathy Hunter of Moore, Charlene and Loyd Cosby of Shawnee, Robin Molnar of Oklahoma City and Jana and Ray Thrower of Moore. He had 4 nephews and 2 nieces, David and Kevin Cosby of Shawnee, Heath and Brittani Castor, Chad and Whitney Castor of Oklahoma City, Jaeron Koehler of North Carolina and Linda Landreth of Blanchard. He had 2 great nephews, Dalton and Eli Cosby of Shawnee and 5 great nieces, Isabella Hope Cosby, Breylyn and Thomas Dane of Shawnee, Avery, Hayli, and Callie Castor of Oklahoma City. The services will be held at Walker Funeral Service on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 10:00 A.M.
