Ellen Marie (Lovelace) Copeland Born August 1, 1938 in Maud, Oklahoma to Virgil & Evelyn Lovelace. She passed away June 3, 2020. Ellen attended school in Maud, Oklahoma and graduated High School there. She worked at the Sylvania factory in Shawnee, OK and later worked at the Macomb School as a cook for over 20 years. She married Jackie Phil Copeland on December 20, 1957 in Maud, OK. They purchased 80 acres in the community of Romulus to raise their family.

She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking and deer hunting. She also loved attending all her grandkids sporting events and school activities. She was affectionately known as Mama by her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her father, Virgil Franklin Lovelace, mother, Evelyn Lucille Lovelace, 2 brothers, Robert and Richard, & 1 sister, DeLoyce Branscum and her husband, Jack Copeland.

She is survived by: 2 daughters & their spouses: Jacqulyn Marie Little & husband Tom of Tecumseh, Ok & Linda Lea Weiss & husband David of Macomb, OK. 4 grandchildren & their spouses: Rebecca Adkins & husband Michael of Moore, OK. Steven Little & wife Hannah of Shawnee, OK. Dr. Jonathan Weiss & wife Dr. MacKinzie Weiss of Gainesville, FL. Andrew Weiss & wife Jordan of Paoli, OK. One adopted granddaughter, Mary Hargus Scott and her husband Jared of Missouri. 5 Great Grandchildren: Isaac Little, Carson Weiss, Paisley Adkins, Jack Little & Jasper Weiss. And a host of nephews and nieces.

The family will be at Walker Funeral Home for visitation Sunday, June 7, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. There will be a graveside service Monday for the family. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
