Dorthy Mae Hudson

Dorthy M. Hudson age 93 of Shawnee died Wednesday, November 2, 2022 in an Oklahoma City hospital. Services have been set for Monday November 7, at 10:00 A.M. in the Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Larry Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in Jamison Cemetery west of Meeker, Oklahoma. Dorthy was born June 11, 1929 at home north of McLoud to Grace and Dave Newby. She was lead Operator of the Assembly line at Western Electric which became A T & T. She was also a homemaker. She was married to Orville Hudson on February 3, 1950. She loved her hometown of McLoud, including the Blackberry Festival, winning big at some of Oklahoma's best casinos and spending time with her beloved nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Brothers: Tuck, Jake and Dave, Jr. also a sister Evelyn and son Kenny. Survived by Daughter: Sue Montgomery, Son Ed Hudson, Sister Gene Robinson, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
