Dale Fisher

Shawnee resident Dale Fisher, 90, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018, in Shawnee.Dale was born December 17, 1927 in Earlsboro to Elvis and Pearl Fisher. Dale retired from Tinker Air Force Base, having served in numerous roles, he spent the greatest amount of time working as a driver for the motor pool. He married Ada Treece on May 31, 2013 in Ft Smith, Arkansas. They made their home in Shawnee. Dale was a die-hard OU fan.He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and two sisters.Dale is survived by his wife, Ada, of the home; son, Billy Fisher of Choctaw; daughter, Viola Appleton of Chickasha; grandsons, William Fisher and Selby Appleton; a brother, Bill Fisher of Amarillo Texas; sister, Evelyn Deal of Piedmont; great grandchildren, Baylee, Blake, and Garon; and numerous nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 19, at 2:00 PM at Walker Funeral Service Chapel in Shawnee
