Clarrissia A. Catlett

Clarrissia A. Catlett, 90, of Shawnee, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at a local hospital. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 28 in the Chapel of Walker Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.

Clarrissia was born in Seminole County on May 18, 1929 to Andy & Bertha (Carr) Lee.  On January 6, 1947 she married Joel T. Catlett.  They moved to Shawnee and raised two children.  She was a very loving wife and mother.  She was an active longtime member of the First Christian Church where she served as Deacon, volunteered for Rodeo and voting, belonged to Sorority Sisters, and touched the hearts of so many in Shawnee.  Clarrissia retired from Southwestern Bell.

Clarrissia was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Linda Allene Roberts.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Joel T. Catlett, son: Joel “Tommy” Catlett, Jr., seven grandchildren: Lisa, Julie, Becky, Clay, Kane, Joel and Emma, eleven, great-grandchildren, brother: Jack Lee, and sister: Phyllis Jones.
