Charles Wesley Wolfe

Charles Wesley Wolfe was born to George Ann (Clutter) and Ted Wolfe in Edmond, OK on November 9, 1965.  At the age of 4 he was lucky enough to gain his “Momma” Marilyn, when she married Ted.  The marriage of Ted and Marilyn joined Charlie and his older brother T.J. with Marilyn’s daughters Trica and Carla.  The family then welcomed two more little sisters later on, Misty and Mindy. He was also blessed with a younger brother from George Ann, Jason Avery. Charlie attended high school at Wellston, OK where he enjoyed being active in FFA and Football.  After graduating in 1984, he went to work at Eaton in Shawnee, OK and then joined the Shawnee Fire Department in 1986, where he worked until retirement.  Following that Charles held several positions in the oil and gas industry focusing on safety.

On May 22, 1999 Charlie, along with his kids Mesha and Colby, married Michelle Cooper and her three kids Josh, Shayla and Mikayla.  Giving the newlyweds a fast family of 7.  They resided in Meeker for over 20 years before moving to Shawnee and finally building their dream home together.  Charlie enjoyed spending time with his family and never missed an opportunity to tell each of his kids he was proud of them.  He was PePaw to 6 grandkids, and loved each of them unconditionally but had an undeniable bond with his oldest grandson Slayton.  Charlie enjoyed OU football, but especially loved watching Slayton in little league.

Charlie was preceded in death by his father Ted Wolfe, mom George Ann Anderson, sister Mindy Waren, and son Colby.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 24 years, Michelle.  Children, Josh Devereaux wife Mollie and son Caysen; Mesha Wolfe partner Chelsea Gundrum and daughter Avah; Shayla Graham husband Dylan, kids Slayton and Daizy; Mikayla Mullendore wife Heather, kids Sadie and Novie.  Momma Marilyn Wolfe, brothers TJ Wolfe and Jason Avery, sisters Trica Ebert, Carla Lester and Misty Sweeney.  Mother and Father-in-law Bob and Dorothy Cooper. A multitude of friends and other family.
