Celia F. Heath passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was born on November 18, 1950, in Konawa, Oklahoma to Louada and Ira Henson.
A woman of remarkable grace, Celia earned her BS in Accounting, a foundation that led to a respected career as a Certified Public Accountant. Though her professional achievements were many, she wore them humbly, choosing instead to place the utmost value on her family and her marriage of 56 years—her proudest accomplishments. Celia’s dedication to her loved ones was fierce and unyielding; she never hesitated to protect and care for those held dear to her heart.
Celia’s gentle spirit brought comfort and calm to all who knew her. Even when faced with hardship and adversity, she endured with determination and grace, inspiring those around her through quiet strength. Her reverence for life manifested in a deep appreciation for nature—she found both peace and joy in the simple beauty of wildlife, gardening, and fishing. Birds, deer, and other creatures she observed were part of her daily solace, alongside her beloved pets who held a special place in her heart.
Beyond her professional world and family circle, Celia was known for her warm hospitality. She delighted in hosting Sunday dinners, where stories and laughter intertwined with love and togetherness. Spending time with friends, caring for her grandchildren, and embracing the spirit of adventure through travel were among the many ways she enriched her life and the lives of those she touched.
A funeral ceremony for Celia will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene, located at 401 N Market Ave, Shawnee. It is an opportunity to remember a woman whose kindness, devotion, and enduring spirit made a profound difference in the lives of so many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louada and Ira Henson; brothers, Doyle and Bobby Millican; and sister, Billy Millican.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Heath; children, April King, Brent Heath and wife Rebeka Fair; grandchildren, Stephen King, Cameron King, and Ian Stephens; great-grandchildren, Mason and Brooklyn King; brother, Edd Henson; sister-in-law, Linda Kay Henson; niece, Celia Kay Henson; and nephew, Todd Henson.
Celia F. Heath will be remembered not only for her professional expertise or her accomplishments, but above all for the love she gave freely, the steady light she provided in times of darkness, and the inspiration she leaves behind. Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and a heart forever devoted to family.
