Brad Roy Scroggins, Jr.

Brad Roy Scroggins, Jr., resident of Shawnee, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024. He was 71 years old. Brad was born on November 12, 1952 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to his parents, Brad Roy Scroggins, Sr. and Jewell (King) Scroggins. He graduated from Shawnee High School as part of the Class of 1971. 

Following high school, Brad joined the United States Marines. For two years he served his country and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He worked for Eaton Company for over ten years. One of Brad's favorite past times was watching football, mainly OU and the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed being outdoors and camping. 

Preceding Brad in death were his parents, Brad and Jewell Scroggins and a sister, Aletha Scroggins. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Donna Ewing and husband Ernie of Dayton, Tennessee and Renita Escobar and husband Byron of Freeport, Florida, girlfriend, Carolyn Martin of Shawnee, Oklahoma as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. 

A graveside ceremony will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Gazebo at Fairview Cemetery.
