Billa Jean Judy

Shawnee resident Billa Jean Judy, 68, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at her home.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Billa was born April 15, 1955 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Bill and Belva Slaughter. She married Randy Judy and they were married over 51 years. Billa worked as a waitress at several local restaurants including Sunny Side Up, Boomerang, I-Hop, Benton's Cafe, and Arrow Cafe. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, George Straight, and listening to the band Randy is in.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter: Victoria Grace Judy, 2 sisters:  Doana Slaughter,  Sandy Ferguson, and a son-in-law: Michael Lance Moore.

Survivors include 3 daughters: Mary Beyer of Yukon, Amy Strickland and husband Richard of Shawnee, and Briana Moore of Shawnee, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sister: Vicky WIlliams of Shawnee and Shelly Schneider of Shawnee, brothers: Sammy Slaughter and wife Nancy of Shawnee, and Eric Lawson, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
