Bennie Carl Hayes

Bennie Carl Hayes, 73, of McLoud, died Friday, April 27, 2018 in a Tulsa hospital.Services were held May 2 at Walker Funeral Service Chapel, with burial following in Tecumseh Cemetery.Mr. Hayes was born August 30, 1944 in Stigler, Oklahoma to Bennie & Addie Hayes.  He was a graduate of Bethel High School and attended Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama.  He was married to Wilma Jo Hayes.Bennie served more than 20 years in the US Army as a military police, and was a retired and disabled veteran.  He was a lifetime member of DAV.He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bill Hayes and Ed Hayes, and a sister, Mary Hayes.He is survived by his wife, Wilma Hayes; sons Russell Hayes and Randel Hayes; a daughter Addie Hayes; granddaughter Kaeli Hayes; grandson Christopher Hayes; and a brother Don Hayes and his wife Trisha, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
