Barbara Carletta Moore

Barbara Carletta Moore, 83, of Shawnee, died Wednesday, August 14, 2019 in Tomball, Texas.  Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 19 in the chapel of Walker Funeral Service with Tony Keesee and Kyle Keesee officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.

She was born October 9, 1935 in Aydelotte, Oklahoma to Leroy & Louella Brown.  She attended Centerview and Shawnee High School, graduating in 1953.  On November 14, 1953 she married Harvey Dean Moore in Shawnee.  He preceded her in death on November 15, 2009.  She retired from Newton Manufacturing, later known as The Halo Company.  She also worked as a receptionist for Dr. Radawi.  She was a member of the Church of Christ in Little, and Central Church of Christ in Shawnee.  She taught Sunday School classes, as well as being a 4H leader, a senior class chaperone, FHA mom, and EH group member.

Carletta was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister: Earline Mayes and a son-in-law: David Ince.

Survivors include: two daughters & son-in-law: Betty (Moore) & Tony Keesee of Mannford, OK, and Janet (Moore) Ince of Tomball, TX,  grandchildren: Kayla (Tracy) Tindle of Lubbock, TX, Jared (Becky) Ince of Lewisvile, TX, Kyle (Carley) Keesee of Okla. City, OK and Janaye Ince of Tomball, TX,  great-grandson: Emory Dean Tindle, brother: Howard Lee & Lavonne Brown of Prague, OK, and brother-in-law: Glen Mayes.
