Barbara Allen Harris

Barbara Allen Harris, resident of Shawnee, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. She was 82 years old. Barbara was born on September 17, 1941, in Denison, Texas to her parents, Cecil and Amy Jackson. She worked as a cashier and a warehouse worker at Western Electric. She enjoyed doing puzzles and painting. Barbara loved to go shopping, travel, and take cruises. Some of her favorite trips were to Hawaii, Alaska, and the Grand Cayman Islands.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Amy Jackson and two brothers, Lee Jackson and Dale Jackson.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Paula Woods and husband Bo, Leroyce Ridgel, and Nancy Craig and husband Greg, grandchildren, Savannah, Sharlene, Danielle, Allen, and Tyson, greatgrandchildren, Hannah, Bailey, Cobe, Riley, Phoenix, Brody, Joe, Josh, great-greatgrandchildren, Ryker, Lorenzo, and Legend.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Walker Funeral & Cremation Service on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm with family present to greet friends from 4-6 pm. A funeral ceremony for Barbara will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Mammoth Baptist Church in Meeker. Following the ceremony, she will be laid to rest at Pilgrim’s Rest.
