Amanda "Mandi" Richelle Haggard

Amanda Richelle (Ramsey) Haggard, affectionately known as Mandi, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at her home. Born on November 12, 1976, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, Mandi's vibrant spirit and dedication to her community left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her.

A proud graduate of Dale High School, Mandi furthered her education by earning an Associate of Arts from Platt College. For seven impactful years, she worked as a domestic violence advocate at Project: Safe, where she devoted herself to helping victims find their voice and navigate their paths to safety and recovery. Her work was characterized by compassion and commitment, as she provided care and support to many in their times of need.

Mandi was known for her playful personality and her ability to bring laughter to any room. Her loud, ornery side often made her presence known, endearing her to friends and family alike. She was a woman who deeply cared for others, forging numerous friendships throughout her community.

Mandi had a variety of interests beyond her advocacy efforts. Above all, her daughter Shelby held a special place in her heart, and Mandi cherished her deeply. She was also a devoted supporter of OU football, always enthusiastically cheering on her team. According to family members, one of Mandi's favorite pastimes was simply getting good sleep.

She is survived by her loving husband, Nick Haggard of Harrah, along with her children: Shelby Nichole Ramsey of Dale, Seth Haggard of Ada, Alex Haggard of Shawnee, and Noah Haggard of Oklahoma City. Additionally, she leaves behind her mother, Paula Ramsey of Dale; her brother, Brad Ramsey and wife Cali of Dale; and her mother-in-law, Jeani Haggard of Shawnee. Mandi was also part of a larger family network that included six grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who will miss her dearly.

She joins her father, Richard Ramsey, who precedes her in death, along with her grandparents, Bud and Hattie Ramsey, and Andy and Ola Mae Garner, as well as her step-grandmother, Roberta Garner.

Mandi's legacy will continue through the lives she touched, her unwavering spirit, and the joy she brought to all around her.

A memorial ceremony will be held at Dale Church of Christ at 2pm on Saturday, November 1, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Project: Safe. 313 N. Union Ave, Shawnee, OK 74801.
