Allen Lee Southard

Allen Lee Southard departed this earth on November 25, 2025. He was born in Humansville, Missouri on December 22, 1951, to Murry and Christena Morris Southard. He graduated in 1969 from Coachella Valley High School and earned his bachelor's degree from Southern Nazarene University in 1992. 

Allen was a proud veteran who served twenty-two years in the Army and Air National Guard. He worked for the USPS for thirty-three years as a clerk, letter carrier, superintendent of operations and Postmaster for Wetumka, Okemah, Perkins and Guthrie. Upon his retirement from USPS, he walked across the street and worked for Payne County Bank for seven years. 

Allen was preceded in death by his parents and a son, James Southard. 

He is survived by his wife, Teresa of thirty-seven years; daughters, Kelly Black (Brandon), Jennifer Southard, Tiffany Barrett (Jack) and Tammy Fowler (Art); grandchildren, Jenna Southard, Kylie and Kera Osgood, Jackson Barrett (Lauren), Kate Barrett (Alex Cain), Jonathan, Olivia and Rachel Fowler; sisters, Norma Hoffmaster (David) and Carol Laurence and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Walker Funeral Chapel.
