Alice Faye Sehorn

Shawnee resident Alice Faye (Wallis) Sehorn, 85, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at her home. Alice, the daughter of William Isaac “I.W.” and Thelma (Lawson) Wallis, was born October 10, 1935 in McLoud. She was a graduate of Shawnee High School. Alice married Bobby Wayne Sehorn, on March 14, 1952. Alice sold real estate for JW Kinnett and Ted Allison, before her retirement. She was also a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Alice loved playing Bridge, but her greatest joy came from her grandchildren. Alice adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, watching her grandchildren play in games and activities, and watching her grand-daughter coach volleyball. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Daisy Wallis; husband, Bobby Sehorn; brother, William Wallis, Jr.; and her sister, Wanda Pennington. Alice is survived by her sisters-in-law, Evalena (Wilkerson) Wallis of McLoud, OK and Betty (Sehorn) McGuire of Pampa, TX.; sons Dr. Mickey Sehorn (Karen) of Shawnee, OK and Mark Sehorn (Cathy) of Shawnee, OK; grandchildren Chris Sehorn (Carolyn) of St. Peters, MO., Ashlie Loy Dickey (Zach) of Dallas, TX., Jeff Sehorn of Grapevine, TX., Alyson Loy Ackerman (Rusty) of Owasso, OK., Julia Sehorn Holland (Bryce) of Shawnee, OK., and Matthew Sehorn (Chelsea) of Shawnee, OK.; and great-grandchildren, Emily, Alexis, Gracie, Gavin, Emmit, Micah, Cooper, and Presley; and many other family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Gregory Grant and the nurses at Loving Care. If you do attend the funeral, the family requests you wear a mask and practice social distancing. Public can view Friday, January 8, 2021 from 8:00 am to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be Saturday, January 9, at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee, with Tom Harmon officiating. Services are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.
