James "J.G." Garland Lewis

James Garland "J.G." Lewis was born October 28, 1947 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Finis Vernon & Nettie Opal (Beasley) Lewis, and passed from this life August 17, 2015 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years. J.G. lived in Pauls Valley as a client of Garvin County Community Center for many years, and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Pauls Valley for 24 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters: Bobbie Williams and Norma Gayle Evans. He is survived by 2 brothers and sisters-in-law: Lloyd & Nelda Lewis of Chandler and Jerry & Martha Lewis of Shawnee; sister and brother-in-law Nettie & Don Smith of Olympia, Washington; 6 nephews and 6 nieces. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Resthaven Memorial Park with Rev. Steve Williams and Rev. Marion Oden officiating.
