Glen Ray Carlon

Glen Ray Carlon, 91, of Shawnee, died Friday, March 22, 2019 in Shawnee.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27 in the chapel of Walker Funeral Service with Pastor Nathan Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.

Glen was born June 15, 1927 in Garfield County to Harry Ray & Alice Mabel (Jarvis) Carlon.   He served in the United States Navy and worked as a pipefitter in California on a naval base. On April 9, 1946 he married Gladys Opal Carlon.

Preceded him in death is his wife Gladys, son, Edmond Wayne Carlon, two brothers: Loren Wilfred Carlon and Earl Lee Carlon, his parents: Harry Ray Carlon and Alice Mabel Jarvis Carlon, a niece: Gayle Carlon Rippy, nephew: Robert Lee Carlon.

Glen is survived by four nephews and their wives: Darrel Ray & Eleanor Carlon, Merle Dean & Mary Carlon, Richard Lee & Linda Carlon, and Preston Eugene & Carol Carlon; and a niece, Christine Carlon.
