Shawnee resident Charles E. Webster, 73, passed away Tuesday, December 27.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29 at the Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. Monte Campbell officiating.
Charles Ellsworth Webster was born September 8, 1938 in Colonial Park Haarrisburg, PA the son of Charles Daniel Webster and Mable Susan (Frysinger) Webster. He attended Perryjoint High School in PA and college in San Antonio, TX. He served in the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He then worked for the Civil Service, where he retired. After retirement he worked for SELCO in Mechanicsburg, PA. He married Nancy (Spangler) on July 2, 1965 in Mount Joy, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Webster of the home; 2 daughters: Melissa Webster of Mesquite, TX and Charlene Webster of the home; sister: Pearl V. Eckerd and her husband Tom of Enola, PA; brother: Daniel C. Webster of Linglestown, PA; special aunt and uncle: Bertha & Roy Schroll of Lititz, PA; and several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
